As Chief Operating Officer of EAC Funding, Sharon has spent nearly a decade building the operational backbone that lets plaintiff attorneys and medical providers work together with confidence. Since joining EAC in 2015, Sharon has run the company on a simple premise: the law firm and the treating provider are partners in the same case, and EAC’s job is to make that partnership work — for both sides, not just one.
That premise comes from experience, not theory. Before moving into operations, Sharon worked as a case manager and then a paralegal within plaintiff law practices — tracking treatment, managing liens, and seeing firsthand where funding friction slows down a patient’s care and a case’s progress. It’s a vantage point most funding companies don’t have: a working knowledge of how attorneys weigh risk and how providers weigh reimbursement, built from having sat on the provider-facing side of the table.
Sharon is a graduate of Coronado High School and holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting from UNLV. And unlike many of EAC’s competitors, who operate out of out-of-state offices, Sharon and EAC are Las Vegas natives — a local partner embedded in the same legal and medical community they serve.
For plaintiff attorneys, that means a funding partner who understands case timelines and won’t complicate settlement negotiations. For medical providers, it means a partner who understands the realities of treating on a lien. Either way, Sharon’s goal stays the same: advocate for the patient by being the bridge that keeps the law firm and the provider working in sync.
